Radha Beauty Tea Tree Oil – The miracle oil!! (claims not approved by the FDA, merely my opinion)

I have been a fan of Melaleuca Oil for years, in fact long before Essential Oils became trendy, this was a staple in my home. Also known as Tea Tree oil, this has many uses and I will simply talk about how I use it.

I have begun making my own health and beauty products, and three that I use the most are my homemade shampoo, homemade laundry detergent and a skin softening healing salve. There are so many chemicals in the commercial versions of these products that I wanted to find healthy, organic or more natural versions, and tea tree oil is a prominent ingredient in each of these. I’ve been buying the small 15 ml bottles and if you make any quantity of these products, it can be quite cost prohibitive.

This product by Radha Beauty is of top quality, and by selling this in 4 oz. bottles, you can incorporate it in many ways without worrying about running out when you need it for something else. It comes in a lovely blue glass bottle, with a glass eyedropper so you can measure it precisely. I also rub it into my nails (both hand and toes) and while it strengthens my fingernails, it is rapidly clearing up a fungal toe nail infection I’ve dealt with for years.

My doctor gave me a product that has more health warnings on it than benefits, and I used it for two months with little results. Within two weeks of using tea tree oil, I can see new, healthy nail growing in. Granted nail growth is a slow process, but I’ve got a nice supply now to ensure I’ll finish the treatment with new healthier nails. Every house needs one of these bottles (in my humble opinion) because this one bottle can replace dozens of products. Wonderful!

Natures Alchemy – Citronella Essential Oil, .5 fl. oz oil

I bought this at a local vitamin store because I was bored and my husband was in the ColdStone Creamery nearby. I was thrilled to find out that this store has essential oils, because all the others I have bought have been online, and the few I had seen in stores in my area were either overpriced, or not pure. I bought Citronella essential oil to use in my own blend I am making as an insect repellent. I have been experimenting with essential oils only for the last 3-4 months, and through research found out that not only outdoor candles use citronella, but it can be used in other preparations as well, often more effectively. It smells heavenly,  a lot different than the commercial candles I’ve had, so I am hopeful that this will work well.

Nanshy StandUp Brush Holder – Extremely Versatile for more than brushes.

I am not a make up artist, nor am I someone who wears make up often, but with that being said, I do have a lot of small containers of make up and appliers including some brushes. For a portable solution, this holder is ideal. And not just for make up and brushes. I am a teacher at a local community college, and I often transport the things I need for my classes (pens, pencils, small stapler, electronic presenter, etc.) in my pocket or in the bottom of my carryall bag, which means that they can be misplaced or damaged by bouncing around, and using this holder, I can keep all these small items organized and secure.

The holder comes in two pieces, both made from washable material, that fit together snugly and are secured by two plastic clips, one on either side. When the two pieces are together, and the clips employed, this is a very secure storage and travel solution for small items like I mentioned in the previous paragraph. Each half is extremely roomy, if you want to use them as storage cups for desktop or on your make up counter to hold your essentials.

I love this product and may order another for its intended use, but I think that this should be marketed for multi-use purposes since it is so versatile and sturdy.

I received this brush holder from Nanshy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, so I am going to do my best to be thorough and detailed so that other customers can make an informed decision.

KEllis Natural Beeswax 4 ounces – Doesn’t seem like a lot but it goes a long way

I bought this in preparation of making a few all natural beauty products, since organic and DIY seems to be my new hobby.  I chose this particular brand because of the price, and I didn’t want to buy in bulk since I didn’t know if I would continue the hobby.  I am glad I did.  The only thing I have used it for so far is a DIY Lip Balm.  The recipe only called for 1 Tablespoon, so 4 oz. is enough to supply a grocery store chain with lip balm :D.  I am going to be making other things, so I may end up ordering more, but this size package was perfect for me.  Now, as far as the quality goes, I am no expert.  All I know is that the pestilles make measuring a breeze, and while it took a long time for them to melt, they blended perfectly with my other ingredients and the end product (on my first attempt), turned out perfect.  No complaints at all!

ORGANIC RAW AFRICAN SHEA BUTTER WHITE/IVORY 100% Natural 8oz/1/2 pound – Lovely product for DIY Health & Beauty Products

I purchased this Shea Butter from EBay and the seller adoranaturalproducts.  It was shipped free and quickly, and while I am no expert on these things, it was packaged securely and the label has a listing of many different uses for it.  It was pretty inexpensive.  I have used it twice so far, once straight from the package on my hands, and the effect was immediate.  My skin felt softer than it has in years, and the effect lasted all day.  The second thing I used it for was in a recipe for homemade lip balm.  It melted perfectly, no grittiness at all, and incorporated perfectly with the coconut oil and beeswax and the other ingredients I used.  I will buy this again, and am completely happy with my purchase!

Lavender Essential Oil from Rahda Beauty – HIGHLY recommended!

I am a fairly new convert to Essential Oils, and I recently received a bottle of Lavender Oil from Radha Beauty in exchange for an honest review.  This is my first exposure to Lavender Oil, and I must say that I am impressed on several points.  First, the fragrance is heavenly. Rather strong, but that is because it is pure lavender oil, and not diluted at all.  I’ve only had it a short time, but I will tell you how I have used it and how it has worked.

As a sleep balm – Sleep is one of my favorite activities, yet sometimes, I have difficulty winding down and relaxing enough to drop off. I put one drop of this on my finger and dot it on the tip of my nose and temples, and the aroma has almost an instant effect on helping me to relax.  I usually read to relax in bed, but last night when I used this, I was asleep within minutes of my head touching the pillow.  I’ve ordered supplies to make a literal sleep balm, but a teeny tiny bit of the pure product worked in a pinch.

As an air freshener – We have 2 cats and a dog, and it seems that no matter how much I clean up after them, there is always aromatic evidence that they live here too. I’ve combined about 2 cups of water, 1/2 cup 50% alcohol and 10-12 drops of Radha Beauty Lavender Oil in a small spray bottle and spritz around the areas of the house that need it the most.  Works like a charm.

As an insect repellent – A good friend of mine has been struggling with bed bugs…ick.  I made her up a spray bottle like I use for air freshener, but smaller. I increased the amount of Lavender Oil, 15-20 drops in 1 cup of water and added a few drops of tea tree oil.  I’ve read that both of these oils are hated by bed bugs.  I took her this spray, as well as several cotton balls with about 3 drops of oil on each, and she is spraying like crazy, and  sticking the cotton balls around the affected rooms. I’ll update the review with how this worked for her.

These are all the uses I have tried so far, but have a list of things I’m going to try.

These bottles contain 4 oz. of Lavender Oil which is A LOT, so the potential uses are endless.  100% Lavender Oil that was Steam distilled. It is from Bulgaria, and is a product I am going to cherish.

Vitagoods Face & Body Cleansing Brush – Works Great!

This was a sample for review.

I like this product a lot. I am not a teenager but am rather a woman of a certain age, and my skin isn’t as smooth and wrinkle free as it used to be. I do try to take care of it though, so I was excited to try this. Even though it is called ‘Spin for Perfect Skin’, I was simply hoping it would work and wasn’t expecting miracles. It worked flawlessly, I tried all 3 brushes, the cleansing facial brush worked very nice, the exfoliating brush was a bit firmer and if I actually had exfoliation lotion to use with it, it would be even better, but no complaints with just using it with my cleanser. The body brush is a bit small, and really isn’t practical for my use, but the item that really excited me and that I would have bought this unit for is the pumice stone. I have corns and callouses and this baby gently but effectively filed away at those. I truly dislike the block pumice stone you get at walmart that is hard to hold and use. This just purred away as it made short order of a particularly annoying callous on the bottom of my foot. For this feature alone, I would give this product 5 stars, but the rest of the kit was a pleasant surprise as well (with the exception of the body brush which I won’t use.) From the time we were told this product was coming until it actually arrived was a bit longer than we expected, but it arrived safely and is packaged in a secure and attractive box.
